Carousel Clothing takes pride in being the area’s finest consignment store. They offer new and used clothing for active business women at an affordable price.  To keep the collection fresh, they invite shoppers to donate upscale clothing at the beginning of each season.

When we met with Janet from Carousel Clothing, her primary goal was to increase sales.  With little presence in the community at the time, she wanted to grow the company’s  following.

First things first, Janet needed a solid website to help with getting found in Google Search and make the right first impression with visitors that might be skeptical that a consignment shop can deliver elegant business attire for the professional woman in Waterloo/Wellington.

With Janet’s marketing goals in mind, Intrigue made Carousel Clothing a unique Facebook page. In just over one year’s time, their Facebook following has grown from 300 ‘likes’ to over 2000 local fans in Waterloo/Wellington.  This has been an encouraging result to say the least.

Intrigue also helped Janet grow her mailing list to over 3500 people through encouraging people to sign up on the website, facebook page, and in the store using a tablet with a sign up form.

Subscribers receive a bi-weekly newsletter, which features information about promotions and events. According to Janet, this has increased sales by bringing more people into the store.

Here entire campaign is rounded off with a Video Advertising component that has her video playing in local, high traffic, consumer environments throughout Waterloo Region.  Here is her video:

We are proud of the trusting relationship we have with Janet.  We always enjoy discussing ideas, progress, and the latest fashion trends when we stop by the store.

It is a pleasure to work with such a dedicated entrepreneur.  Thank you Janet for building such a great business in our community.
