Perks of Working
at Intrigue

Check out the benefits and perks that make our workplace awesome.

Intrigue Days

You know that week in December between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day when most people would like to be taking a break from work? We give you a break. Every year our team gets Intrigue Days (which are essentially additional vacation days) so you can take time off to relax, spend time with family and friends, and start the new year fresh.

Vacation Days

Time off matters, so we give every team member a minimum of 3 weeks vacation every year — plus one extra day per year that you are a team member at Intrigue.

Flexible Workdays

You do you! Take care of your appointments, drop your kiddos off at school, stay home with a sick relative, get your tires changed, and whatever life throws at you. Our team members have the flexibility to take care of themselves and their loved ones — no questions asked! (We do ask that you get your work completed though…that seems reasonable to us.)

Work From Anywhere

The world is your oyster…or office, whatever works for you. But seriously, our team members can choose to work from a location that works best for them, whether that’s home, our snazzy new office, or a remote island! All we ask is that you are available during our core hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern time).

Good Eats

Whether you’re feeling like a coffee, tea, fizzy water, beer, or even a prosecco or cider, our office has it all! We also have regular team lunches, outings, and parties around the holidays. Nothing brings people together quite like food and drinks.

Team Stock Ownership Program

We encourage our team members to be invested in the work, literally. That's why we introduced our Team Stock Ownership Program (TSOP). Any team member who’s not in a probationary period can purchase equity in Intrigue so that when Intrigue grows, so does your investment — and you get to enjoy an annual dividend.

Events and Activities

We enjoy each other’s company and regularly hold team events, both on site and off, so our team can continue to bond and have some fun off the clock. From ski days to rock climbing to pub nights, we have lots of good times.

Personal, Sick, and Bereavement Days

We understand that life has many ups and downs and we don’t ever want you feeling like you have to choose between getting paid and attending to personal matters. We offer our team members the paid time off that they need during these challenging times.

Bonus Program

All of our team members have the opportunity to earn extra cash at year’s end with Intrigue’s bonus program. The program is tiered, so the more profit we earn, the more that gets paid out.

Variable Compensation

That’s just a fancy way of saying that, if you exceed your workload by month’s end, you will be compensated in addition to your base salary.

Dog Friendly Office

Malcolm, Carly, Dawson, and Frankie are looking for more furry friends at the office! If you have a friendly pup that you’d like to bring into the office, you’re more than welcome.

Road Maps

Every team member creates a road map that outlines their personal and professional goals with a quarterly, yearly, and multi-year focus and, every quarter, you will review this road map with your Team Lead. We are dedicated to helping you succeed, because your success is our success.

Mentorship and Coaching

We want you to become the best version of yourself both professionally and personally. We offer all of our team members the opportunity to receive mentorship and coaching to help them scale up their life at home and at work.

Training and Learning Opportunities

If there’s a course you want to take or a conference you want to attend, let us know! Each team member is entitled to a training and learning budget to help offset the cost of you levelling-up your skill sets. We also provide free, full access to Linkedin Learning online training courses and (short) books to read to help get you ramped up in your role.

Dress Code

Our dress code is that there is no dress code. Sure, when we’re meeting with clients, we want to look “business casual”, but if you’re coming into the office to work and attend internal meetings, dress however you’d like.

Kaizen

Kaizen is a Japanese word that translates to ‘Change for the better’. It’s an operating principle at Intrigue that is applied organization-wide. We encourage you to bring new ideas to the table, to try new things, and to fail forward. It’s all part of our mission to help each team member be a leader in their own life and in the organization.

A Team of Leaders

At Intrigue Media, we believe that we need to build an organization full of people that want to strive to be their best and strive for excellence to bring our purpose of empowering leaders to strengthen communities to life.

Our team is expected to grow every day, every week, every month, and every year. We know that the only way that we will prosper in today’s marketplace is by having people that believe in themselves, their team, and their organization.
