Vanessa McQuade
Vanessa works with local business owners to develop strategic marketing efforts that help them achieve their goals. Outside of work, she is on the Board of the United Way, helps connect young professionals through her efforts as a YPN committee member, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, and the odd Martini.


Zoey Taylor
As a Marketing graduate from the University of Guelph, Zoey is an Intrigue team member who was thrilled to find an organization she aligned well with out of university. Zoey is a marketer who loves helping businesses get noticed and found by their ideal clients. In the community, she is on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Network of Guelph and is on the fundraising committee for the Big Brother’s Big Sister’s of Guelph Wellington and Lakeside HOPE House Annual JOY Home Tour. In her spare time, she enjoys getting fit, being around dogs, the occasional shopping spree, and spending quality time with her friends and family.


Fred Scheuer
Fred is a part owner of Intrigue in Milton and Oakville. He generates leads for businesses by helping them develop successful marketing campaigns. His strategies typically involve a mix of online services, community visibility, and networking. When Fred is not helping businesses grow, he enjoys being involved in the community in any way he can. You will often find him participating in sporting events, volunteering at functions, or on the golf course looking for his ball in the woods. Fred also enjoys hanging out with friends and family, and solving the Rubik’s cube.


Paul Demarco
Paul is one of the co-founders at Intrigue. His focus is on helping drive the organization to become a leader in local marketing across Canada. He is on the Board at Bracelet of Hope and is a member of the Rotary Club of Guelph. When he is not at Intrigue, he loves travelling the world, and slowly ruining his ear drums listening to live music.


Carly O’Brien
As a citizen and a professional, Carly feels strongly that we each have a responsibility to actively create the prosperity we would like our organizations, communities, and families to enjoy. Her role at Intrigue allows her to apply her skills and passion to positively affect dining rooms through boardrooms – she works inside businesses with the knowledge that better workplaces support family homes. You can find Carly helping clients benefit from effective marketing, protecting the ‘front door’ of their organizations, and building cultures that brim with leadership.


Tricia Kopec
Tricia has a passion for building relationships, entrepreneurship, the fast-growing world of technology and marketing. Her mission is to ensure your experience with Intrigue is awesome. She works with clients to build successful lead generation strategies, while she helps to direct the vision of Intrigue working alongside the CEO. Outside of Intrigue, you’ll find Tricia coaching on the spin bike at SPINCO, travelling, working with the Entrepreneur’s Organization, or indulging in a personal development book.


Kevin Sinclair
Kevin helps organizations in Cambridge get noticed by consumers in Galt, Hespeler, and Preston. When you meet Kevin, you will immediately notice that his passion for growing Cambridge’s community is incredible. He’s also a huge music fan (ask him about his favourite bands), and he enjoys tinkering with things of the mechanical nature.


Ryan Vielma
Ryan is an online marketing and sales leader whose goal is to ensure clients have a positive and expectation-exceeding experience with Intrigue. Ryan is passionate about helping local businesses grow and push the limits on what success means to them. Ryan is a bean bag toss champion, who spends his spare time enjoying live music, swimming in Lake Huron, tuning into Sunday Night Football, and enjoying the occasional patio beer.


Mark Morrison
Mark has a passion for working with people and helping businesses reach their full potential. Outside of Intrigue, Mark takes pride in community involvement. He is on the Board of Directors for Threshold Homes and Support, a member of the Rotary Club of Kitchener-Conestoga and on the Chamber BA5 Committee. Some of Mark’s personal hobbies include travelling the globe, playing squash, engaging in debates about Star Wars, and cheering on his favourite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles!


Alex Hamilton
Alex is a copywriter and SEO specialist at Intrigue. He focuses on creating web content that appeals to both visitors and Google robots — ensuring that clients’ websites have high conversion rates and solid search engine rankings. When he’s not working at Intrigue, he likes to spend his time traveling, staying active in the outdoors, and reading a good book.


Andrew Donovan
Andrew is a content marketer at Intrigue. A writer turned journalist turned marketer, Andrew is most fulfilled when he has the chance to share stories and ideas through words. Outside of work, you will find Andrew in the gym, hitting the heavy bag, or riding his bike to local events. If you need something from Andrew, bribe him with a cigar.


Aphra Zimmerman-Holy
Aphra supports businesses by writing and editing creative and strategic content for marketing campaigns. She also assists Intrigue’s content marketing team to ensure that high-quality content is being delivered across a variety of services, including strategic messaging, branding, websites, design, email, social, blogs, and video production. Recognized for her strength in communication and collaboration, she is focused on achieving clients’ goals and engaging audiences. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and going to theatre and concerts.


Cori Sears
Cori is a social media and Facebook advertising leader at Intrigue. She loves helping clients connect with their customers and build meaningful relationships online. When she’s not in the office, Cori enjoys playing volleyball, binge watching Friends, and spending time with her friends and family.


Emily Foell
Emily works as Operations Assistant, working closely with the project management team to keep campaigns on track! Emily loves helping local entrepreneurs grow their businesses, helping them reach their full potential. Outside of Intrigue, you can find Emily at the barn riding and training horses in her free time. She is a proud owner of her fluffy cat Enzo, and her old dog Skipper.


Hannah Kowaleski
Hannah is the Team Development and Culture Specialist here at Intrigue. Her focus is to create an awesome onboarding experience that will boost new hire productivity and team member retention. When she’s not at Intrigue, Hannah enjoys going to her family cottage, participating in outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.


Matt McQuade
When Matt isn’t working or helping out in the community you can find him doing just about anything to stay moving. A lover of all sports and a master of none, Matt enjoys staying active and a little healthy competition. Look for Matt at a community event near you and isn’t ashamed to admit that he will likely be drinking a Bud Lite!




Mike Bernier
Mike is a Senior Web Developer at Intrigue. You’ll find him managing web projects, building WordPress sites, developing eCommerce Platforms, and implementing CRO and SEO on client sites. Mike enjoys spending his free time being way too competitive at old school video games, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and taking long walks on the beach.


Mingyao Liu
Ming is a software developer by day and whitehat hacker by night. He is self-driven and always on the frontline of learning about new technology and adopting new software under his tech of choice. With a passion for everything computer science, Ming has one goal for the project he works on: to write the best code. His favorite bash command is: git gud.


Natalie Fox
As Project Manager, Natalie keeps client campaigns organized and on track, ensuring both the team and clients have what they need to be successful. Outside of work, you can find Natalie, her husband, and dog, Dawson, exploring the vast network of Guelph trails and waterways, by foot, canoe, or on cross-country skis.


Nate Lessnick
Nate ran the marketing for a bike touring company until a global pandemic put the breaks on his traveling. He then discovered that he wanted to help empower leaders and strengthen communities. Lo and behold, he came upon a team of brave superheroes called Intriguers who do just that. By joining forces, they make ideas stick, create content that spreads, and help business owners win their battles.


Rachel Chivers
Rachel is a Content Marketer at Intrigue.
Her love of storytelling inspired her to study journalism in Toronto where she lived for many years, but her heart now belongs in Guelph. Rachel is dedicated to supporting local businesses and creating effective and interesting content for clients.
When Rachel is off the clock, you can usually find her in the kitchen trying out a new recipe or smothering her cat with hugs and kisses


Sandy Ho
Sandy is an online marketing conversion specialist at Intrigue and manages clients’ accounts in the Google Ads and Facebook Ads digital space. She enjoys helping clients achieve their goals through strategic planning and implementing best practice marketing strategies. Outside of Intrigue, Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, travelling, hiking, reading, and searching for her next adventure!


Sharon Ura
Sharon supports the Intrigue team in her role as Finance Controller by ensuring checks and balances are in place to arrive at a financially happy place. When not at work, Sharon enjoys spending time with family, doing Yoga, and taking long motorcycle trips on her Harley Davidson Fat Boy.


Stephanie S.
Stephanie is an online advertising and email marketing leader, world traveller, and ad copy writer. Her passion is helping grow businesses across the globe by getting them to the top of search results and the top of inboxes. She is also an avid figure skater, shoe shopper, and is always in search for the best cup of coffee. When she’s not at Intrigue, you can find her planning her next travel adventure, staying active with friends, and playing chef at home!


Tawni Fus
Tawni is a UI/UX Designer at Intrigue who works with the Software team to unite systems and users through design. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Global Business and Digital Arts with a Global Experience Certificate from the University of Waterloo. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, and learning about design trends.

Amy Spice
Amy is the co-owner of Intrigue Hamilton which includes Ancaster, Dundas, and Stoney Creek. Growing up in the Ancaster area, Amy believes in her community and does what she can to help charities and non-profit organizations throughout the area gain exposure for themselves and their upcoming events. She helps great businesses get noticed and found on her network of HD TVs found in high-traffic areas of the city, or where people tend to be for longer periods of time: restaurants, gyms, salons and spas, medical centres, etc. When Amy isn’t helping her clients grow, she can be found spending time with family & friends, while being a very proud Auntie to her niece Dylan, and she loves to read with a glass of wine! (Amy, not Dylan).


Dale Johnson
Dale and Stella are partners helping local businesses in the Brantford and Brant County area connect with active consumers. In their spare time they enjoy attending community events, crossword puzzle challenges, providing feline services to their 4 cats and trekking through “The Jungle” …aka gardening.
