The Ostic Group’s 5th Annual Ball Hockey Tournament!

On Sunday June 5th, The Ostic Group hosted their 5th Annual Ball Hockey Tournament at the Centre Wellington Outdoor Ball Hockey Rink.
Each year, The Ostic Group finds a charity to support with the proceeds of the tournament. This year, the charity was Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph (BBBSG) raises the majority of its own funds with some generous assistance from United Way Services of Guelph & Wellington. All of the funds they raise directly support their local mentoring programs and services. This ensures the organization can provide quality programming, careful screening, proper matching, and ongoing professional support to all volunteers, children and their families. This June, four organizations signed their work teams up for the tournament: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Intrigue, The Ostic Group Blue, and The Ostic Group White.
The combination of the four teams, and the many individuals that contributed, raised $2,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Guelph.
As returning a champion, Intrigue was able to defend our title for the third year in a row!The Ball Hockey Tournament brings together people of all skill levels and is one of the most fun team building charity events that happens in the Guelph community.
Despite it being the first 30+ degree day of the year, everyone was in good spirits and managed to finish every game (and with a sun tan!).
